People usually get in touch when they are navigating growth, change or uncertainty and want an experienced external perspective to help clarify direction, test assumptions or think through what comes next. The sections below outline the ways those conversations most often develop.

Advisory & sounding board

This is often where my work begins.

I’m typically brought in at moments of change, growth, or transition, when founders, leaders, or senior teams want space to think clearly and talk things through with someone who has been there before.

I don’t offer packaged solutions. I work as a sounding board, drawing on decades of operational, board-level, and international experience in travel and experience-led businesses to help clarify options, challenge assumptions, and support better decision-making.

Speaking & conversation

Speaking, for me, is about conversation rather than presentation.

This includes keynotes, panels, and moderated discussions where context, lived experience, and thoughtful reflection matter more than slides or soundbites. Topics often centre on change in travel, the role of technology, leadership through transition, and how experiences are designed, delivered, and remembered.

Experience & event thinking

I’m sometimes asked to help shape experiences rather than simply talk about them. 

This can include travel programme and product development, industry events, launches,or internal sessions where content, flow, and human connection matter. The focus is on clarity of intent and creating experiences that feel coherent, meaningful, and well judged

Media & writing

Through writing, interviews, and recorded conversations, I explore how travel is changing and what that means in practice.

My approach is reflective rather than promotional. I write and speak to share perspective, add context, and contribute to better thinking across the industry, often drawing on conversations with people building, operating, and experiencing travel today.

Grounded in the real visitor experience

I remain closely connected to the front line of travel and visitor experience through my work with guides, operations teams and organisations shaping how travel is delivered, interpreted and understood.

That continued proximity keeps me grounded in what guests and visitors genuinely value, and it informs my advisory, ambassadorial and strategic work
